It’s been just a couple of days since our first Swain For Congress signs were placed around our district. Already, one has been vandalized and two have been stolen.
It saddens me that this is what politics has become in 2020. Since announcing my run for office, I’ve been dedicated to running a positive campaign. A campaign that focuses on what I will do in office: work to build a better community for everyone. A campaign that emphasizes what makes our community #WakeStrong. A campaign that understands that people are tired of negative campaigns that focus on what is wrong with the opponent rather than what the candidate will actually do for them. I’m calling on my opponent, as well as everyone running here in Wake County on both sides of the ticket, to publicly call out those who are destroying and stealing these political signs. I’m doing that right now. Together, let’s set the example for our state and nation on how politics can and should be. Comments are closed.
